Welcome to Designing the Branch! A place where I leave my ramblings of everyday life as a Custom Crafter!

        Hello there! My name is Krystin Miller and I am the woman behind the words! I am living the dream with my husband and furbaby, Millie, in good ole' Independence, MO, a suburb of Kansas City. I am a homemaker, student, blogger, and custom designer who's passion is to touch people's lives through art. I love creating my own twists of popular food and dessert recipes, am an avid lover of baseball (Go Royals!), hockey, (Go Blues), and animals, and I am probably one of the most sarcastic people you will ever know, which you will learn very quickly. (If you knew my family you would know that it comes naturally.) I am always looking for a way to create things or customize and finish existing things to make them even better than before! 

        I have translated my passion into a business. Along with being a homemaker and a blogger, I am the Founder and Owner of Willow Branch Designs, a local custom design company that I have started from the ground up! I offer everything from paper goods and party decor supplies to custom home decor and clothing. There isn't anything I won't try to design! This blog is used as my platform to connect with my business audience and to let them see inside my home, kitchen, and studio. To let them control what I write about, what they are included in, and give them a peek of what it looks like to create their customs.
